Delivery Schedule

Monday - Friday

Orders placed after 12pm on a Friday and anytime on a Saturday or Sunday will usually be dispatched the following Monday, or next working day if a bank holiday.

During peak promotions (Such as Black Friday and our VAT free sales), dispatch times may take up to 3 working days.

Christmas 2025 Delivery Update

The cut of dates for Christmas 2025 delivery are as follows:

  • Evri Standard Delivery - Order before 12pm Thursday 19th December
  • DPD Next Day Delivery - Order before 12pm Friday 20th December

We will be processing orders outside of the bank holidays, but please allow for delays with the couriers during this time.

Please note:
Failed transactions (e.g.: incorrect postal information, declined cards, etc.) and out of stock items will delay your delivery.
We will notify you via email if there is a disruption to your order.

Additional Notes

  • Should there be any trouble regarding your order, we will contact you via email. Please be sure to check your spam/junk email folder if you have not received your order by the expected date.
  • For seamless delivery, ensure that there is someone to receive your delivery at the expected date and time. Failed deliveries will be returned to the depot and a note will be left at your address.
  • We will process and handle your order with the utmost care. However, once your order has left our premises Alan Howard cannot be responsible for any transport delays, damages, or any circumstances beyond our control.
  • Alan Howard is closed on all major bank holidays; therefore, delivery times will be affected during those periods. Please refer to this page for updates to delivery times around public holidays.

Local Salon Delivery

By placing an order for Local Salon Delivery with Alan Howard, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Minimum Spend:

There is a minimum spend requirement of £20 for Local Salon Delivery orders.

Delivery Vehicles and Drivers:

Local Salon Delivery orders are fulfilled using our own Alan Howard vans and delivery drivers.

Scheduled Delivery Days:

Local Salon Delivery orders are delivered on specific set days. Please contact your local store to find out what the current schedule is.

Order Timing:

Orders placed before 3:00 PM will be scheduled for the next available delivery slot. Orders placed after 3:00 PM will be scheduled for delivery on the following available delivery day.

Delivery Timeframes:

Please note that delivery timeframes may vary based on your location and the delivery route for the specific day.

Business Addresses Only:

Local Salon Delivery is available for salon business addresses only. Orders cannot be delivered to residential addresses.

No Unattended Deliveries:

For security and safety reasons, all Local Salon Delivery orders must be received by a representative of the salon. Our delivery drivers are not authorised to leave orders unattended or outside the property.

Packaging:

Our products are carefully packaged to ensure their integrity. Due to the nature of the items being delivered, it is essential that someone is present to receive and inspect the order upon delivery.

Rescheduling and Missed Deliveries:

If you are unable to receive the delivery on the scheduled day, please contact our customer service team at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule. If no one is available to receive the delivery at the agreed-upon time, a redelivery fee may apply for the next available delivery slot.

Cancellation:

If you need to cancel or modify your Local Salon Delivery order, please contact us at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery day. Orders cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.


Furniture Delivery

We pride ourselves on our high-quality customer service. All our furniture is delivered straight to your salon door by our professionally trained Alan Howard drivers*. Furniture delivery charges are different from standard delivery charges and can only be delivered to ground floor addresses. For furniture delivery prices to your address please, refer to the chart below.
